Dominique - Director

Meet the visionary force behind Event Temps, Dominique. A seasoned event manager with roots in Leeds Beckett Uni, her journey led her back to Bournemouth in 2011, where she embarked on a diverse range of event roles. In 2016, she took the plunge, establishing Event Temps with the mission of supporting local events and suppliers with their staffing needs.

Dominique starts her day with a sharp focus on navigating the dynamic world of temporary staffing, she expertly balances client expectations and employee schedules. She seamlessly transitions into planning and managing events, leaving no detail unattended. Her role goes beyond paperwork and personnel — she's hands-on during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Dominique's proactive approach ensures each occasion not only meets but exceeds expectations, making her a vital part of the overall event experience. In her versatile role, Dominique doesn't just direct; she actively shapes and enhances the event landscape.

Amie - operations manager

In the realm of finances and accounts, Amie stands as a stalwart. With 20 years in hospitality and seven in the events world, Amie brings a wealth of experience. Joining Event Temps five years ago as a temp, she transitioned into the role of Accounts, Logistics, and Coordination this year, reveling in providing excellent staff for events.

Amie wears many hats as the Operations Manager; her day starts by keeping the company's finances in check, handling invoices, and ensuring everything adds up. Then, she shifts gears, dealing with the nuts and bolts of event staffing needs and maintaining good relationships with clients. So, while crunching numbers and ensuring logistics are on point, Amie also becomes a trusted guide for clients and wedding couples, ensuring a seamless journey to the altar. Juggling numbers, logistics, and coordination might seem like a lot, but Amie makes it all look easy, keeping our operations running like a well-oiled machine.

First Job: Amie's journey started at a doughnut shop when she was just 14 - a sweet beginning to her career.
